What is the difference between Retail and Distributor accounts? The main difference between a Retail and Distributor account is pricing. Both Retail and Distributor accounts will have to meet specific requirements to qualify for specific price privileges.

To qualify as a Retailer, Educational or Professional Crafter:

• You must supply a state-issued resale certificate with your application.
• You must also operate out of a retail location not a private residence.
• You must order in minimum inner packs.
• Your opening order must be $200 or more and reorders must total at least $75.
• Payment terms are prepaid and credit card.
• You will be responsible for freight.

To qualify as a Distributor:

• You must supply a state-issued resale certificate with your application.
• In addition, you must supply 3 references (other companies to which you are a distributor) in order for your application to be approved.
• A minimum of $40,000 annually in purchases is necessary to maintain a Distributor account.
• You must order in full cases.
• Your opening order must value at least $5000 and reorders must value at least $2000.
• Payment terms on your first order as a Distributor are prepaid.
